Our Brown Ale is the first beer we started making at the brewery in 2001, after making soft drinks since 1997. Fortunately it was such a success that it won an organic gold medal in 2002. After that, there was no holding us back in our beer adventure. Brown Ale is a full-bodied, creamy beer made with American hops. They lend the beer a delightful, yet discreet citrus-fruit aroma alongside caramelised and toasted malt. It tastes sweet and rich with notes of toffee, chocolate, coffee and liquorice with a mellow sweetness and mild, hoppy bitterness.

Brown Ale is a delectable beer, best enjoyed with good barbecued food: juicy steaks, for instance. It is also a great accompaniment to rich pasty dishes such as spaghetti carbonara or macaroni cheese, and Indian dishes with lots of curry. It goes well with sweet, chocolate and creamy desserts too.
